Keeping with the style of the time, he was less concerned with the beauty of the individual materials than with the overall visual effect. Most of the marble is imitation but no expense was spared on the trompe-l’oeil paintings, created by the most outstanding artists of his day. This print comes in a brown wooden frame with gold coloured edge and glass panel.
